Face Lift Dentistry® treatment is trademarked by the developing dentist many years ago. The first goal is to create the optimal facial height, support and jaw position for stress reduction in the head and neck regions.

My Upper Teeth Don’t Show When I Talk

Before and After Facelift Dentures

Older looking people show lower teeth and younger looking people show upper teeth. Face Lift Dentistry® helps older people look naturally younger.

Cant’ See Upper Teeth

This is a common problem with younger and particularly older patients. The teeth get shorter as we age and the face begins to slowly drop as the soft tissue looses firmness. When the upper teeth are too short, the face looses support causing premature aging and facial collapse.

Face Lift Dentistry® Goals

Over a lifetime, stress reduction can be very significant. The second goal is to create biologically compatible bite that optimizes the cosmetics and basic functions for the patient. The patient’s jaw is easily repositioned non-surgically with Dr. Muslin’s cosmetic Face Lift Dentistry® treatment..

How Can You Change the Jaw Position?

The patient’s bite forces you jaw into a bad position. If the teeth can force the jaw into a bad position then Dr. Muslin method can create a new surface on your teeth and a new bite that allows the patient’s jaw to move to a healthy position that helps them look years younger and feel years younger.

Bite Correction & Face Lift Dentistry®

Many patients were told that in order to correct their bite they had to have jaw surgery and braces. Some of these patients did have jaw surgery and they still don’t have the best bite and jaw position for their faces. The idea of this treatment is to get the most ideal bite for the facial structure of the patient, non-invasively, without grinding down teeth, without braces and without jaw surgery.

Dental Implants and Facelift Dentures®

Dentures are removable teeth and are generally replacing all of the teeth on the upper or lower jaw. The problem with dentures is that they do not have solid support. No matter how they are made, they are not attached to anything solid. The main problem with a custom denture is looseness that develops over time. It gets loose and the patient needs something to help hold it into position as Poly-grip, Sea Bond or some other adhesive. The best way to give the patient a denture that supports the face is to get it to snap into position with something in the mouth that is solid. Neuromuscular dentures fit more solid and tighter when they are snapped on to dental implants.

Dentures With Dental Implants

As the patient gets older they lose the height of their jawbone. As the height of the jawbone is lost, the dentures get increasingly looser. But, there is a high tech dental solution that solves the problem and increases the chewing power and comfort level of the patient. That solution is a denture that works with dental implants.

 Snap-in Dentures

Snap-In Dentures give the patient security and confidence that the denture will stay in place while they chew and speak. The benefits of dental implants combined with a denture improve the health of the patient as they can chew their food more efficiently.

Dental Implants & Neuromuscular Dentures

Most people lose their bone because they wear the same old dentures too long. They should be relined or remade at least every 5 years. To hold down the loose ones many people buy "PolyGrip", "Fixodent" and "Sea Bond", among other adhesives. But adhesives are no match for dental implants with a custom denture. Dental implants with a custom one fit with mechanical retention. Mechanical retention is strong and the neuromuscular denture will look great, feel secure and chew effectively. When a patient can chew with power, speak clearly and laugh with confidence, they have achieved the ultimate level of dental health.

 Snap-In Dentures Attach to Implants

Dental implants have little balls on the top that snap into the denture. The custom denture has little metal receivers that allow the balls to snap into them for a secure mechanical fit.

The denture will fit tight, stay in place better and the patient will be able to function more efficiently.

Pain

Loose dentures are painful because the slide around. You bite on one side and the other side pops up. The gums can be so thin that it hurts to bite down hard. Dental implants improve this situation markedly. In fact, some people can have a set of teeth that replace the denture fs they can afford a large number of dental implants and fixed porcelain bridges.

Chewing Power

The bite or occlusion needs to be correct because the implants will firm up the denture so much that without a great bite, teeth will break off or you will lose the implant. Chewing power needs to be balanced to the patients face, bite and speaking patterns to achieve the neuromuscular denture advantages.
