Treating Patients in Los Angeles, CA from All Over the United States and the World

When you go to the dentist and spend many thousands of dollars only to end up in pain, the experience can be frustrating. The dentist then sent her to a specialist that wanted to do braces and extract a tooth. She said, “that is not going to happen, so I flew across the country to be treated by a dentist that does this type of treatment all of the time.”

From Desperation to Calling it a Miracle in 3-Weeks

Many patients come to Dr. Muslin after they have spent a lot of money and time on dental work without getting good results. Dr. Muslin’s treatment addresses the smile and the jaw position at the same time, fixing multiple problems with his Face Lift Dentistry® method. His non-surgical technique works with no tooth grinding, minimal treatment time, and is mostly pain and risk-free.

Before and After photo showing a woman treated for a bad bite and stressed jaw after she had multiple crowns placed by her local dentist.

This patient had many crowns replaced by her local dentist. Coming into our office, she complained about jaw pain and crown sensitivity. In the photo on the left (taken before Dr. Muslin treated her) it is evident that her jaw is under stress. Her chin is forced back towards her ears. Her bad bite caused her to look tired and prematurely old. The photo on the right, after treatment, shows a healthy, vibrant, and much younger-looking person with a beautiful and relaxed jawline.

Jaw Pain After Porcelain Crowns or Veneers

This patient had old, failed crowns replaced by a dentist in Virginia. This treatment did not fix her deep overbite, and the new crowns made everything worse. The new crowns were probably too low, which made her jaw look smaller, created a lopsided effect and deepened her overbite. Her top teeth overlapping her bottom teeth caused pressure on her jaw which aggravated the sensitivity caused by her crown replacement. She could not breath very well and experienced sleeping problems because the crowns made her bite a little bit deeper.

The next dentist recommended orthodontia, but she is a retiree and had already had braces in the past that didn’t fix the overbite. She wanted to see if there were other options available to her. She made it her bucket list item to fix her teeth.

This patient was miserable after receiving crowns by her local cosmetic dentist. Then she was referred to a specialist that said she needed an extraction and braces again. She would not make the same mistake again, so she made sure she found a dentist that was highly experienced and knew what he was doing. She flew in from the East Coast.

Pain Caused by an Overbite

When a patient has overbite pain, their jaw can hurt, and they can have headaches and neck pain. Clenching and grinding can also contribute to a physically compromised life. The treatment discussed on this website was designed to correct overbites without surgery, without braces, without appliances, and without grinding down your healthy teeth.

Overbite Correction with JawTrac® and VENLAY® Bite Restoration

Part of Dr. Muslin’s technique is to use his exclusive JawTrac® method. He developed this so his patients can experience the new jaw position before he does any work. They are able to see and feel the new position, and Dr. Muslin can test and make sure it is correct before moving forward. This greatly reduces risk of bite correction methods used in other dental offices and a new jawline greatly improves the smile beyond porcelain veneers.

Receding chins and aging prematurely are characteristics of overbites. VENLAY® Bite Restoration may be more expensive than other methods but it has many benefits compared to other methods, such as a Dental Facelift®, non-invasive Venlay®, greatly improved jawline, easier breathing, sleeping improved and aesthetically appealing white teeth - all without drilling, braces, or surgery.

This patient felt the benefits of JawTrac® within 15 minutes of using it. She quickly felt more comfortable with no more clenching and pain. She felt much better with the new position of her teeth and she gained a more proportional and a younger shaped face. This patient had still been a bit skeptical that she could be helped, but JawTrac® helped her see what Dr. Muslin could do before he started the work to her teeth.

The Dark Ages of Dentistry are Gone

Once the patient is satisfied with the new jaw position, VENLAY® Bite Restoration is used to correct the bite permanently. Dentistry that grinds down healthy teeth is really dentistry of the “dark ages.” It is no longer necessary to harm your healthy teeth. VENLAY® Bite Restoration can restore a deep overbite without being so invasive. There is far less pain to this method and it reduces tooth sensitivity rather than cause it.

VENLAY® Bite Restoration also provides a bright, youthful smile, and reduces tension and stress in the jaw that contribute to looking older. It lengthens the face and improves a weak facial profile. Not only does this patient look younger, but she feels younger as well with a more comfortable jaw position!

Tooth and Jaw Pain Eliminated and Overbite Corrected in Less Than Four Weeks

She had numerous problems after her crown placement that her dentists could not solve. Dr. Sam Muslin did not disappoint her as she explains very clearly the health problems that she had and her opinion of his treatment.

It's been a miracle. I was desperate when I came out here. I did not think this could happen. Dr. Muslin is a genius.

Cosmetic Dentistry Fools You

Do you want a smile design when you have a deep overbite? The answer should be no. Do you want your teeth ground down for porcelain veneers and still have the deep overbite? The answer should be no. Do not let cosmetic dentistry fool you into believing that a better smile can correct your overbite with porcelain veneers. The facts are that porcelain veneers generally make overbites worse.
