Dangerous Open-Bite Correction Dentistry Fixed 10 Days!

Patient Claimed Bad Dentistry caused TMJ Pain, Headaches, Sleeping Problems

Open-Bite Correction

Non-surgical open-bite correction requires a skill set and experience that most dentists don’t have. Almost every patient we have seen with an open-bite was told that jaw surgery and braces were their only choice. This is no longer true.

As a case in point, this patient went to one of the “best cosmetic dentists in Atlanta” to have her open-bite corrected. She spent many thousands of dollars, and ended up with a “miserable experience.” She was unable to sleep, had ringing in her ears (tinnitus), headaches every day and went back forty times for bite adjustments that could not help her.

Before and After Open Bite Correction

Searching for a dentist that can correct her bite “that the other dentist messed up.” She found Dr. Muslin and his Face Lift Dentistry® method, using JawTrac® Alignment and VENLAY® Restorations.

She Researched Bite Correction on the Internet

She was determined to find the most highly skilled dentist possible. She even went to two different prosthodontists, and both seemed like they could help, but this called for jaw surgery and braces. She was determined to find a less invasive solution.

Open-Bite Patient Testimonial

The reason one dentist can solve problems that other dentists cannot is that they have special skills and methods.

Bad Jaw Position caused by Porcelain Crowns

Spending a lot of money that seems to be wasted is one thing, but being in pain all of the time makes it far worse. The "best dentist in Atlanta" was grinding on her new crowns desperately trying to make her comfortable but nothing worked. She has an open bite, cannot speak clearly and is in constant pain.

Even though she was being treated by one of the best dentists in Atlanta, Georgia, she was “miserable.” She was subsequently referred to two prosthodontists, neither of which could help her. Through more research, she found the Face-lift Dentistry® Method with JawTrac® Alignment and VENLAY® Restorations, and she decided to get on a plane. One patient said, “It was far easier to get on a plane to someone who knows what he's doing than to make a big mistake with a local dentist”.

I wanted the most experienced dentist possible. From what I saw and learned from patient video testimonials, Dr. Muslin is the one.

JawTrac® Alignment

The patient was able to get a whole new level of comfort after Dr. Sam Muslin explained how JawTrac® Alignment could help her. His first level of care was to get her jaw in a comfortable position and close the open bite down so she could speak clearly and get pain relief. His exclusive JawTrac® Alignment system allows him to see what he is doing rather than just guess.

To try to find any bite position that is comfortable, dentists try temporary teeth and bonded orthotic appliances, just as Dr. Muslin did over 30 years ago. The problem is that they are really trying to find a jaw position or bite position by just guessing. There are various aids dentists utilize to try to get the patient comfortable, but when you are using a trial and error method, it can be very unpredictable. JawTrac® was developed by Dr. Muslin. The patient experienced comfort within a day using JawTrac® after suffering for a couple of years. With the correct jaw position known, VENLAY® Restorations are used to correct the open-bite.

VENLAY® Restorations

What Dr. Muslin does is study each patient’s particular health issues and combines them into his plan. He tests the patient with his JawTrac® system before he starts working on the teeth. He uses his VENLAY® Restorations to save the remaining healthy teeth. He does not need to grind down your healthy teeth because he uses non-invasive VENLAY® Restorations. However, the other dentists will claim they can do a non-surgical bite correction, but their method is highly invasive as they will grind down your teeth for crowns, often making the bite even worse. JawTrac® Alignment with VENLAY® Restorations is more predictable in determining and correcting the right jaw position for overbites, underbites, cross-bites, open-bites and bad-bites.

Open-Bite Correction without Surgery or Braces

Non-surgical open-bite fix, before and after

Many people suffer their entire life with the wrong bite and jaw position for their anatomy. We are living a lot longer and it is advantageous for us to reduce physical stress in our bodies even if we are not aware of the problems.

Sometimes jaw surgery and braces are the best treatments depending on the severity of the open-bite, but often open-bite correction is possible without jaw surgery and braces. Keep in mind that, unlike JawTrac® Alignement, you cannot test jaw surgery or braces in advance of treatment, which is why it has significant risks.

Tinnitus

When a patient has ringing in their ears (tinnitus,) they usually have an overbite, which forces the lower jaw back towards the patient’s ear canal. This usually causes ringing in the ears. Dr. Muslin does not claim he can solve everyone’s ringing in the ears problem, but he has found success using his method.

Sleeping Problems

Sleeping problems can be a serious health risk, and most of the time it is caused by crowded tongue syndrome. This is where the patient has lost the normal space required for the tongue and now the tongue is actually crowded inside the patient’s bite or teeth. When teeth wear down, there is less space for the tongue.

Thank You, Patients!

Although this dentist takes photos of every patient that he treats for bite correction, the patient’s privacy is respected. His or her photos will never be shown to anyone. However, some patients, like this patient, are so happy to have found the Face Lift Dentistry® Method and the Dental Face Lift® (both trademarked by Dr. Muslin and both are the same method) that she signed a release form giving away the rights to show the results of his work.
