There are many reasons to whiten your teeth, but the question is should you? While there are great benefits, not everyone is a prime candidate for teeth whitening, in fact you could end up doing more harm then good.
If you are allergic to peroxide then whitening is definitely not for you, as all forms have some kind of peroxide in them. If you already have sensitive teeth there is probably some underlying problem that will be agitated by the whitening process, so avoid it. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, again, whitening is something you should avoid. If you have already had your teeth whitened and you want it again, despite getting results, you may be displaying an addiction to cosmetic enhancements, which can spiral out of control, so if it’s starts feeling compulsive, stop and get help. Finally if you are sixteen or under do not whiten your teeth. Teeth are still actually hardening then, and whitening can interrupt that process.
Remember, the best method of whitening, and the safest, is to go to your dentist. For more, read here-
