If you have sensitive teeth or are worried about getting them then we have some secrets on how you can avoid- or even reverse- teeth sensitivity.
One of the major causes is hard brushing. A gentle stroke is best, with a soft bristled brush. The bristles and paste are abrasive enough without needing much force. Rinsing with mouthwash too often or using one too heavy in alcohol content will wear down your teeth as well. If you’re toothpaste is of the whitening variety this, too, can be a problem. Anything whitening actually wears down your teeth to do what it does. If you grind your teeth in response to stress, guess what, you’ll end up with sensitive teeth! Too much plaque, which produces acids that erode teeth, will wear down your teeth and make them sensitive as well. Gum disease works along this line as well. In any case, if you have sensitivity it is typically a sign that you need to go to your dentist and get something checked out. For more on this sensitive topic, see here-
