Porcelain Veneers Looked Bad
They felt bulky, thick and rough. What was even worse was the color of the veneers. They looked off. Not natural.
Also, Sama’s gums appeared swollen and inflamed.
The results weren’t her fault. She ended up going to the best dentist in the area where she lived. He offered a veneer that was nationally advertised. Sama decided to move forward only to end up with the results mentioned above.
She asked herself one question. Was she going to have to endure this poor dentistry forever?
A Fortuitous Visit
Traveling from Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf, Sama went on a trip to Santa Monica, staying at the Hotel Oceana on the Pacific Ocean. Most people do not seek dentists while on a trip, but Sama found Dr. Sam Muslin while surfing the internet.
She discovered that Dr. Muslin had a thriving practice as a cosmetic dentist in Santa Monica. But what really impressed Sama were the before and after patient pictures the doctor had on his website.
She said: “No other dentists have the same quality of before and after photos of their patients including both full face and close-ups.”
After reviewing the well documented website, Sama contacted Dr. Muslin for an appointment. Immediately, Sama knew Dr. Muslin could assist her with her porcelain veneer concerns.
Two Weeks Remaining
However, she was on the clock having to return to Bahrain in just two weeks. In a typically well coordinated sequence, Dr. Muslin used the first week to improve the infected condition of Sama’s gums.
The second week of treatment began with the removal of the poor porcelain veneers. With his onsite ceramist, Dr. Muslin created a set of porcelain veneers customized for Sama’s teeth. Prior to bonding them, he tested them on Sama so she could see the results.
She was thrilled!
“I am so shocked, I can’t believe it! They look better than I ever thought possible, thank you, thank you so much!”
The Art of Cosmetic Dentistry
When you look at Sama’s before and after photographs you can see natural looking white teeth. The red and inflamed gums have been eliminated.
Dr. Muslin determined that it wasn’t the porcelain veneers that were the problem with her old dental work. The bonding technique was poor. This caused the issues Sama had.
Dr. Muslin has been practicing cosmetic dentistry in the Los Angeles area for more than 30 years. In that time, he has perfected porcelain veneer bonding techniques.
Sama discovered what a difference that experience made for her.
