Veneers are custom-made, thin shells that are bonded to teeth to change their appearance and fix a variety of dental problems. They’re also called dental porcelain laminates.
They are commonly used to cover discoloration, wear, broken teeth, irregularity, and gaps between teeth.
The process is typically done in stages and involves a few trips to the dentist. Impressions are made and teeth may be ground before veneers are fitted and cemented in place.
Ask your dentist if veneers are right for you!
