We’re always looking for things to do to help our mouth health, unless of course that thing is flossing- because really who like that (I do, but I’m weird). So what are some simple fixes you can do everyday to help maintain your health smile? Some of the things you can do are surprisingly simple.
First, drink more water! You hear about it all the time. They say it helps keep your weight down by curbing hunger, it helps your heart and your digestion, heck, it even improves your mood! Well, guess what that miracle liquid is also good at keeping your mouth hydrated the way it needs to be- which is great for your teeth. It washes away residue of food and harsh drinks that would otherwise cause problems.
Another way to seriously help your teeth is to not make them pull double or triple duty. What does that mean? It means don’t use your teeth as a can or bottle opener, or to open bags, hold keys, or any of the number of things we expect out teeth to do that they weren’t designed to.
