Today is kindness day- a worldwide day appointed in 1998 to shoe kindness to someone either you do or don’t know. It may sound silly, but it is really picking up in popularity- especially here- as a precursor to the holidays. But what the heck does this have to do with dentistry and your teeth? Well, we have some ways to spread kindness with big, healthy smiles.
You may already brush your teeth twice a day, but how often do you remember the roof of you mouth and tongue? You can show some kindness to yourself and you mouth by taking special care to hit them up today. Also doing this will improve any bad breath problems significantly which is a favor to anyone you interact with in a day.
You can also pass out some unsweetened green tea. Why? Well, this stuff tastes great and it also good for your mouth! The tea contains enzymes that help defend against the bacteria that cause bad breath and tooth decay. And if you really want to spread some beautiful smiles, why not get a tooth brush for your family or the people in your office. Everyone can always use a toothbrush.
