Correcting the space between the top and bottom teeth can be “fixed” with braces and the treatment will take about 2 years and require retainers.
The treatment can also be treated with porcelain veneers but it requires a change in the patient’s bite if the patient needs more clarity to their speech. It all depends on the needs of the patient.
Speech problems require one type of treatment while bite problems require other types of treatments. Braces may be the best solution in some cases and in other cases a full mouth reconstruction is the best solution.
