Can a Cross Bite be Treated with Veneers?
Crossbite correction depends on the circumstances as the location of the cross bite in the patient’s mouth.
Crossbites can be corrected or at least reduced with porcelain veneers but the actual treatment depends on each patient’s circumstances.
Here is an example: If the crossbite is on the patient’s right side the lower teeth usually are blocking the dentists ability to place porcelain veneers on the upper teeth. The lower teeth need to be modified if the crossbite correction will be successful. The point being that each patient presents themselves with a different type of cross bite that may or may not be able to be corrected with porcelain veneers.
