A Cross-bite is a Bad Bite

Because Dr. Muslin’s chief concern is the health of the patient, Amber’s case involved a complex treatment plan to balance her bite. Amber had a bilateral cross-bite and crooked teeth. She refuses to wear braces or get orthodontic care; so cosmetic dentistry provides the best solution to achieve a healthy bite with a combination of porcelain veneers and porcelain crowns. Thin Enamel

Her teeth have a gray appearance because of the large amount of translucency in her natural dental enamel. After teeth bleaching, (with fine products like Zoom II, BriteSmile, Crest Whitening Strips, or even Opalescence) her teeth will still look gray. Teeth with thin enamel do not respond well to whitening solutions, so porcelain veneers or crowns are the most effective way to permanently whiten her teeth.
